There is a very new and exciting idea that I have floating around my head. I really want to do it and I feel like it would be an amazing challenge for me, but I don’t want to say anything about it yet. I need to first figure out 1) If it’s ever been done before, 2) If it’s possible to do, and 3) If I am emotionally and mentally prepared to start this new endeavor.

It’s fun and scary to want to do big things.

Watch out world.

I did not write anything in NYC and I haven’t written anything for over a week. And this is all I’m going to write right now.

I’m stressed out. And I’m sad about Jon and Kate. That’s pathetic.

School is over in 2 weeks. I just have to get through the next 14 days and summer will be here.

I’m leaving [tomorrow], I want to be a part of it, New York, New York!!!

I’m leaving with ACES to go to New York tomorrow! I’m bring my computer with me, so I will upload pictures as I take them and I’ll write in here and tell you all what’s going on. We’re leaving tomorrow morning at 5 am and hopefully getting there around 2:30 or so in the afternoon. Tomorrow night, we’re going to the Museum for Tolerance and then Friday we are going to Brooklyn to talk to high school students about getting into college and what college life is like, then Saturday we are going to the Statue of Liberty and all in between those things we have free time, so we’ll see what happens. Meredith, Dom, and I are going to see Little Mermaid on Saturday night!!!

Sorry this was boring. I’m just excited!

It does relate to this post though. Promise.

So, tonight I went out to dinner with my family to this restaurant in Westerville and we were having a good time…until I realized that at the next table, there were some people from my past that I would rather not ever see. Or remember.

It’s times like this when I remember why I was so reluctant to move back in with my parents. There are too many bad memories in Westerville, Ohio. Especially from high school. And people say that OSU is so close to Westerville that it’s basically the same…only it’s so not. At OSU, you can go the entire 4 years or so without seeing someone you don’t want to see. In Westerville, it seems like I can’t go a day without seeing someone I don’t want to see.

Not everyone is bad, don’t get me wrong. A girl I knew from middle school came into B&N yesterday and it was great to see her. I don’t want people to think that I hate every person I’ve ever known from Westerville, because I don’t. In fact, I don’t hate anyone. It takes up too much space in my soul to hate anyone anymore. There are just people I would rather not see.

I will never forget the things that happened here. And neither will they. I think that’s the part that’s so scary.

Life is hard sometimes.

I watched Benjamin Button tonight on dvd.

I started crying in the first 2 minutes and pretty much didn’t stop until it ended.

It’s so effing good. And as much as I loved Slumdog Millionaire, I think I love B.B more.

You should watch it. But not with me. Because I will embarrass myself with my ugly and obnoxious crying that I can not help because it’s just so fucking beautiful that the only there is to do is cry.

Today in my Shakespeare tragedy class, we were talking about Othello and how Othello says, “And when I love thee not/ Chaos is come again.” (II.iii.101-2) Basically, he’s saying that when he stops loving Desdemona, all the world is going to end and the universe will erupt into the chaos from which it was created and yadda yadda yadda. Our professor, the great Alan Farmer, posed the following questions to the class.

Farmer- How many of you have been in love?
*Hands raise*
Farmer-How many of those that have been in love have had that love taken away from them somehow?
*Hands again raise*
Farmer-Did the world end when this happened? Did the universe cease to be?
Alex(a witty character)- Well, that depends on whether you’re in middle school or not…
*Class erupts with laughter*

That’s French for tears, mother fucker.

So, do you ever get the feeling to just cry? Well, I got that feeling tonight. I’m not even really sad about anything. I just needed to cry. So I did. Is that fucking weird? And it wasn’t just like a few tears. It was ugly, runny nose crying. And it felt good.

It’s probably PMS. At least, that’s what I’m gonna blame it on.
